Hi all,

I am looking around for a new sleeping bag, and have been attracted by some of the new larger styles. I borrowed a Gelert Pod and tried it out, but it was a little on the thin side.

I'm not particularly large, but I do like to sleep with one leg bent up near to my chin and the other straight out, so I find my mummy bag incredibly constricting.

I've looked at the Coleman Big Basin, but its too big and bulky, although I have recommended it to a friend who tops 6'6''.

My main complaint is that all of the larger bags I have looked at are only 2-season. Now I feel the cold, so I really want a 3-season +, but then we get into the territory of mummy-only shapes.

My only option seems to be the new Vango Starlight Cocoon 375, which is currently on special offer on Go Outdoors:

It is a mummy shape but promises extra wriggle room.

Has anyone out there bought one of these and feel able to comment on the warmth and extra movement it offers? I am camping at the end of this month, and if I get cold I won't sleep.

Many thanks.
