Hi Boxa,
I've not seen or used one of those but by all accounts they are good little outfits & efficient. Not bad value for money. I'd have concerns on how well it would perform in wild conditions without a additional windshield. I'm someone who likes a brew at lunch time regardless of the weather & I hate foil windshields. That's why my preference is the Trangia or similar. I've been using a Caldera Cone for the last 8 years.
If you get one let us know how you get on.
Fuel - dead easy - that's just regular meths or methylated spirit from the chemist or diy store. Just make sure it is meths & not turps, white spirit etc.

I'd try it at home, outside to get a gauge on how thirsty it is. Alcohol stoves can very widely in fuel consumption. I get away with about 200ml for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches & one evening meal & maybe 6-8 brews. My Trangia requires more. If you don't get chance to gauge it beforehand I'd take at least a litre. If you need less you can take less next time. When I backpack, my first night is usually at a site where I leave the car & the rest of the nights wild. I use a separate supply of meths for the 1st night & morning so my fuel bottle for the trip is full when I set off.

Adding water to the fuel does reduce sooting but lowers the effectiveness of the fuel. I'm always surprised at some outdoor folk being bothered by a bit of soot. A good burnt on layer of soot on your pans also makes them more efficient.

I guess time will tell. Ensure they are coated inside as over time the small water content in regular meths can eat through untreated aluminium.
