Does anyone know if Don Valley Sports at Rossington near Doncaster are still trading.I can't seem to find any info on the internet about it.

Thank you for your replies..I wam quite shocked that its now a Go Outdoors..

Another small independant swallowed up by the big boys.

We had been going to DVS since we first started camping in 1995.Thats when the use to stock all kinds of units.Gone the same way as Mitchells nr Wakefield which was also an excellent independant retailer

Yep Sue & Phil, I wonder when GO will be stocking Cabanon Tents like what DVS used to do, the 12th of never me thinks!

Hi Francais

Yes both DVS and Mitchells use to stock all manor of canvas frame tents and trailer tents.In this country now they are getting as rare as hens teeth
I think the Dutch leave us standing when it comes to tents.Much better quality and choice.
Go Outdoor seem to concentrate on their own 'Hi Gear' range.
Not for me I'm afraid but each to their own as they say.
