Hi all, we will shortly take delivery of our caravan. It's a Lunar Clubman SE. 2011 model. It has a caravan mover fitted and we will be buying a 110ah leisure battery to use with it. Any recommendations as to the best battery would be appreciated. We have been considering the Numax CXV31MF battery which is available online for just over £70. Is it any good? Also, it has dual terminals. What are these for? Are they for when you want to connect a second battery to the first one. Thanks for any advice received.
I've always trusted Numax and found my CXV27 very good so far. Remember though (if you haven't already considered) that there's occasional limitation of the battery box internal measurements and the orientation of the existing wiring, which you need to consider when looking for the battery.
Dual terminal simply means that you have the conventional studs for the batteries main wiring, but there's an additional smaller pair of studs along side each, usually threaded to take an eyelet type connector which you secure with a nut. You would use to easily connect other equipment, such as a solar panel perhaps. I have a dedicated smart-charger adaptor lead permanently wired across this smaller set of terminals.

Bargain, I agree. Just make sure that it will fit in your battery box! My Dad just went a bought a new one when his failed without checking the size, now you skin your fingers getting the connections on the terminals!
