So my double airbed has developed a puncture after one year of camping, from looking on here I think a sim could be the way forward, I haven't got much money to spend but I've spotted two second hand out well double Sims for a tenner, they are only 3cm thick tho, is this too thin? They need to be fairly comfortable as my 18month will be sleeping on one so comfort is important. I'm tempted as they seem a bargain but it's ten pounds wasted if they are no good!
We'll we have a 3cm and we get on fine with them our daughter is 3 in September and will suit her needs great.
We use it on our campings aswell it keep the chill off.. We could of brought 5cm / 7.5cm but I just don't see the point on spending a bomb when your off the floor on your cam bed it would be different if I/we was sleeping straight on the floor I would invest invest in a thicker one but at the currunt time it does our need just fine
We have 10cm as Mart is 18 stone and im 11. Our son sleeps on a 5 cm and he is 18 and skinny as a rake.We always put a blanket on top for warmth and a bit more thickness.
