A couple of rolls of non-slip matting are indispensable for minor slopes. We use it under lots of everyday things, the double burner for safety when cooking, we've cut out placemats & coasters, etc.; it really is super handy. Cheap too - few £ each from Wilkinson's!

BUT... if I didn't, I would seriously consider your good idea, and take it a step further...
How about a (sturdy) peg attached to each leg, and stick them all into the ground... level and pegged down!! Might reduce the possibility of knocks and spills?
Just a thought!
A man after my own heart, I can't abide unlevel gear, the odds and ends box, contains various small bits of ply and rubber door wedges for levelling and all the legs have been drilled to allow for pegging down.
Theres nothing worse than your egg running to the side of the pan, on a morning

Most of our furniture has adjustable legs but I always make sure I have a large selection of thick paper back books. That way I have something to read plus plenty of things to prop under the table legs.
