Yep our melamine plates are now past there best, so have recently taken delivery of a 12 piece Corelle set, although it does say in the instructions that they are not suitable for camping!
Thanks for the above post, armchair camper, we went along to Wilkos today to see what they had and came away with armfuls of stuff!!!!!
Having a new to us van coming soon we are looking round the camping shops at their essentials to use in the van, but the prices in Wilkos beat them hands down and much of it was colour co-ordinated....
Even a decent strong Addis step to go into the caravan was only a fiver. There was so much to look at we had to come away to rethink as we were getting carried away, so much looking forward to the return journey with a half decent list

Oh no, why did you post that link ? They are sooo lovely but I really dont need any more..
Then again I do need some bigger tumblers and I might have to do an online order. Love the wicker hampers too, although they are only for two people - would make a nice pressie.
Mugs and wine glasses have got to be the real thing for me, rather than melamine or plastic, I always buy cheap and have managed not to break one yet!
Hi Angedaws.
Check out the GSi Polycarbonate wine glass's and tumblers, much more like the real thing than melamine or plastic, but still not the same I will agree.
Didn't realise how much nicer wine is out of glass (I know we do drink out of glass at home) until got new van and brother had put wine and glasses in as a present. Will def use glass in future for drinking wine but plastic for everything else. We don't use melamine mugs though as we don't like the taste. Use cheap mugs and then can bin if they get broken.
