I got a 7m pole with a hot air ballon what spin and and it about 1.5m long and when the winds get hold of it you sure do the pole bend so I would so I my op that that flag would be way to big for that pole but I may be wrong
In the end I have manged to add guys to the pole but cutting a pice of plastic into a circle and cutting out the pole diameter in the centre of the circle (mate sure u leave about 2cm to you can drill 4 holes for the guy to it... I done this so it more secure overall

6x9ft!!??
You'll need a 'proper' pole, not just a telescopic for that IMO.

Say parody,
Where did you get your pole?
I got a brookite "hot air ballon " kite from the nec show but I didn't realise it didn't come with a pole?
I've seen them on campsites a good few metres tall and it would be very handy for the grand children to find way back to the trailer.
Thanks

They are actually carp poles and are readily available in fishing tackle shops.

I brought mine in a kit shop in Hunstanton a few years back it was on a deal as they closing down and said if we pay £5 more they will give us a 7m brookite pole and the ground spike aswell .. Payed about £20 for everything so not that bad if a deal.. We brought our as our daughter loves thing that go "round & round" she only 2yr and it helps us find our way back to the correct tent .. Don't ask long story lol

This size not for flying from telescopic flag pole, but would make a good canopy. with your porch poles.

Far to big for a telescopic pole, if you are looking for a pole for a smaller flag look at THIS
