Hi! My caravan cover was chewed by mice and for this last year, I used it with a plastic car cover underneath. I patched it in a few places, as it was an expensive one. Now I need to address the holes, etc so that it will be ok for next winter. I would just buy another one if I could, however, that would require having one made to size and expensive.

Any recommendations for glue, etc? I have some spare material, so patching isn't a problem.

I thought about getting this:
glue
but wondered if ordinary sealer might do the trick and keep the repairs waterproof. I have already sewn a few patches on, but the water is coming in, so I need to seal the sewing stitches.

If you cut a patch just larger than the hole then stick round the edge of the patch with Tenacious Tape on both sides, that should work. Round off the corners of the tape to stop it peeling.

Tear Aid is supposed to be good but I haven't used it.

I have used Tear-Aid on our cover. The blooming thing got caught on the sharp point of the guttering

The Tear-Aid has been on there for over 2 years now with not an ounce of movement.
