AFAIK, the Tropicool range cools up to 30 deg C below ambient, whereas the majority of thermo-electric cool boxes, including my two made by Campingaz and Coleman, can only cool down to 18 deg or so below ambient.
Therefore, IMHO, it is a worthy alternative to a compressor fridge that weighs a lot more and can cost much more.
I am considering this range, as it may suit my needs better as I am highly unlikely to go camping at temperatures much above 25 deg C!
