Anyone got one of these? Looking to buy one and wondered if they are any good and worth the extra cash?

I like the sound of the SG version - saw one in the flesh yesterday and looked really good. All I could find was this (hopefully I've posted correctly).

400 ST review

Love the legs on the 600 but not sure the price difference is worth it (although could get rid of my cooking table) but there's also the cost of the regulator and gas to think of (we'd probably have to get the 904 bottle). The Vario has really come down in price now but the grill doesn't seem that good.

Yes it arrived last week. After years with a v v old campingaz chef we decided to change. We haven't been away with it yet but definitely have some opinions!....

Pros:
- xcelerate system does seem to work. Ie it seems like a hotter flame then I'm used to
- folds to nest package which should be better in the car than I'm used to

Cons:
- the feet look like they're really sturdy but the design is flawed. It's stable when it's shut but when you open it, because the actual cooker bit shifts towards the back, it becomes imbalanced and then rocks slightly on the feet! Disappointing. However, I sorted it with some pop rivets... But not something you should be doing on a brand new bit, of kit! Ours also came slightly bent in the post, which I got money off for and fixed.... Which is why I was prepared to modify it.

So is it worth it? Now that I've sorted it, I think it is yes.

Probably a bit late for the OP but wanted to add my thoughts, which to be honest are not very positive. Yes the boil time is awesome and wind has no effect on it but and its a big but, the build quality is, to be frank garbage. We have only used ours for a 3 day stint so far and at present it now has one broken leg, the catch is broken as is the handle. It would seem that all the plastic components have been used are far too flimsy and brittle. I am just waiting to hear back from Yeomans where I bought mine from how they are going to deal with at its clearly not fit for purpose.

iv got one of these - not impressed by the lack of a low heat setting!

when im heatin up baked beans even on the lowest setting, the beans are boiling away furiously and i need to turn the gas off - this was same on my older camping gaz double burner / grill cooker - why isnt the low setting lower?
