Hi Wullie I towed a 400kg folding camper with a 1300 engine no probs but tried to tow a lightweight caravan with it and found it totally underpowered, I don't know about a 1 litre engine exactly but suspect it could be ok as long as the trailer isn't totally stuffed to the gills.

I (nervously) towed a large trailer tent with my 1.2 Punto last year and had no problems at all - I also saw a folding camper being towed by a little Corsa.  I'm sure you'll be fine.

make sure your car is a 1 litre instead of a 99cc thingy, my friend made the asumtion that her fiesta was a 1 litre and infact it was 99cc or 1999cc something like that anyway.

not sure you can get disels in 1 litre engine!!!
