Got some string solar lights from b&m for the garden. These be any good to go around the tent too?

My 100-bulbs one was from the Solar Centre that cost a bit more, after I discovered the cheaper ones did not function well in the colder and darker winter months.
I use 10mm velcro strips to fix mine to the guys etc., bought in multiples of 1m from eBay, and then cut to the required length, and can be re-used time and time again, unlike cable ties.

Ours were from B & M's and they're great. We have them round the front of the tent and along the windbreak. We just use household pegs to hold them in place

We use two sets, one with clear bulbs indoors for extra lighting and a totally frivolous set of multicolored butterfly ones on the outside. Thought hubby was about to pass out when i put them up along with my new bunting - he was definitely not impressed!
I tend to just wrap ours along guys and through various loops along the front of our tent.
(ours were from Wilkinsons, the ones that store charge and only come on when it gets darker - think they cost less than a tenner and work fine)
Yes, I just wrap around the Windbreaks and don't use any pegs, I've never had a problem. Solar lights are an essential part of camping for me. I love the ambience they create.
