We have also had a Khyam dome tent that we used as an awning with our pop-top caravan.

quick to erect but fiddly in a breezy day.

We now use an Outdoor Revoltion awning which only has one pole, an upside-down "U" shaped pole and is a doddle to erect, even in a wind.

However, when the present one goes "passed its sell by date" we will be going for an inflatable awning.

Lobey
I have adapted a Kampa rally air 260 to fit my cruiser and it fits dead easy and is very stable even in very high winds.
To erect it all I do is put 2 pegs in close to the camper body, start the zips at each end.
Pump it up then just finish zipping it to the camper.
Takes about 10 mins to erect on my own.
To let it down just unzip it and let it down.
PS I am 72 years old.
John
