Hi All,

As the topic say really.
What would be the best thing to use for a weekend break?
I was thinking along the lines of 2xsmall 4.5L Camping Gaz cool box's.
One to store Milk and cold cans, and another for butter, bacon etc.
The drinks one would get opened fairly often which is what you try and avoid, hence having the foods in another which wouldn't get opened that often.
I do have a big 24L Xtreme type of cool box which keeps things cold for 3-4days, but for a weekend this is way too big.

So I thought I'd ask here to gauge other opinions.

Cheers

Ian

I would use 2 small ones but divide them up differently. One box for Friday/ Saturday morning and then the other for Saturday's dinner/ Sunday. So you don't open box 2 until you need it, thus keeping it cold. I'd also freeze whatever I could in box 2 to keep it even colder.

I just use one cool box for food and milk and use a small blow up paddling pool with water in for canned drinks. Seems to work well for us
