I say about £15/£20 in total but I only had to buy the display unit 9.98 :)

Inspired by this post and aware that not all sites on our forthcoming trip to Italy are generous with the Amps, I've also made a version of this. This is to go inside an awning for a folding camper, but I've none-the-less made it waterproof. It's also massively over-engineered due to my DIY incompetance.

And now the internal wiring before it all got sealed up. First time I've done something like this so appreciate any qualified electricians on the site telling me whether I'm likely to blow myself up.

The earth passes straight through at the bottom. It doesn't touch the ammeter. I hope that's right.

The amp monitor was part of a trilogy, as I seemed to be on a DIY roll at the time.

My other two dabblings were.

EHU modification

Vanity Unit for inside tent

My creative streak has since dried up!

Coincidentally when we had our beloved Cabanon Andorra, I also built a sink. There must be something in the genes of us campers that makes us want to add gadgets.
