Wireless access to Sky Go or Now TV on a tablet might be a more practical solution when camping but again it really depends on what you are looking to do.

I use sky go on my iPad but if going away for more than a couple of days I take one of our sky boxes and a portable dish

If you take the card out of your box at home, can you use it in another box like in your caravan portable box...?
