We're wanting to replace our bog standard camping chairs and are looking at recliners. Just wondered if the ones with leg rests were suitable for eating at the table or would they get in the way? should we opt for the ones with just reclining back rests instead?
If you are intending to use them for eating at the table then I would go for a recliner/multi position chair without leg rest as a leg rest would get in the way when trying to eat at the table IMHO.
I just brought isabella comfort chairs that recline but have a detachable leg rest so are fine for eating at the table, very comfy and light weight , I paid £59 for chair and £19 for leg rest
After looking around for ages we just purchased three "Fox Pro" carp fishing chairs from Todber Manor fishing shop. Very comfy, recline, fold flat and well constructed. The best chair we could find for £45 each!
Thanks for the advice. Going to go with just reclining backed chairs for now, though I like the idea of add-on footrest. Might buy chairs with that option then source the footrests later (just to spread the cost a bit as we have a reeeeeaally long wish list at the moment )
I've just ordered the Vango Corona Chairs, not too expensive, 3 position backs, mixed reviews. Fingers crossed they'll be alright for me and the other half.
I'll let you know what they're like later on this week.
