Hi guys, long time no post! But wanted to let you know that Argos have a sale on and looks like some bargains. I've just reserved the camping storage table thingy, well deciding between that and the camp kitchen, both are £33 at the mo. Anyone experience of either??

I have the Regatta storage table, i bought it to replace a much loved and well used Sunncamp one. I love it, it folds to a reasonable size and it well made. The zip doors are on both sides and the compartments hold tons of stuff, all our clothing for a start, plus the side pockets are handy for charger cables, hairbrushes etc. it only takes a minute to put up. The black surface can show streaks but I find a microfibre cloth used to wipe it down solves this.

I use this inside the tent and no t as a main cooking stand, though the kettle lives there.

Thanks Christine. I did like that's it's kind if multifunctional. I have a tall storage cupboard I stick the cooker on at the mo and a folding table, so I have options and lime that this adds to them, cheers x

Another vote here for the regatta folding camp kitchen. Bought ours in the sale last year at a bargain price of £45. It is excellent quality and probably almost worth the 70 it retails for. Easy to put up and pack away. No fraying of material which has happened on other storage units we've used. Easily fits a double electric hob or electric multi-cooker on top, although these are used on the table outside if the weather is fine. With it being quite large it's not suitable for moving in and out, though that's not what we bought it for.

Sam

Edit: sorry realise you said regatta table or camp kitchen not regatta camp kitchen! it is however from argos and very good

I was looking for a small mini fridge (4 litre) so went onto the Argos website and found one for £19.99 reduced from £29.99. I thought, wow! I'll have one...then noticed that you have to buy the mains lead separately at £7.99 which puts it back up to it's original price bar a couple of quid...rip off! They usually sell complete with mains lead and car lead.

We have the Camp kitchen and its really good - the only things are that it doesn't have a windshield on it and i don't think the storage pod things zip up - but its really easy to put up and quite sturdy.

We've bought the regatta moon chair - i was waiting for it to go down all year! Its so comfy but it is massive!!

I have been looking at the Ring 2 and 3 LED lights in Go-Outdoors for a while but they seemed too expensive (£16.20 and £19.40).

Anyway, was killing time at work today looking at the Argos website and they had them for £9.99 and £14.99. Went onto GO and did Click and Collect and headed off to Wakefield to pick them up - with the 10% saving. Had to smile watching the assistant using a calculator to work out what 10% of £9.99 was. Only bought the 2 LED light from GO as the one they picked for me was open with bits missing (the battery box - sort of vital!!). Annoyed because it was obvious it was open but they said it was all there - and it wasn't. So off to Argos - still saved a load on the GO price but missed out on the 10%.
