Any fridge of electric coolbox you buy can only be run in 12v mode while you are driving, simple as that. If you want to run on mains ehu while parked then you have option of cheap electric coolbox with either 230v mains adaptor(£15)or some coolboxes have built in mains adator, ie they are 12v/230v. This setup will probably cost under £60. If you are running it your van at night the hum from it might disturb you.
Or you can pay around £170 for 3way fridge box which should be more efficient in hot weather, is silent in operation & can also be run on gas if you want, but should not be run on gas inside van at night unless you fix up an exterior vent.
