Anyway of finding out what my canopy is for as it was sold to me with an icarus 500 but we didnt want it so wevsold it on ebay which has been returned to us as he said it didnt fit his tent:-\ so help please

Normally there's a tiny label sewn onto the bag, and the pole bag that goes inside.

Right have looked on bag canopy etc and only details i can find is that its a sun canopy large with a purchase order date of 2008??

The Vango Sun Canopy is (was) a generic canopy not made for any particular tent. You have to look at the canopies dimensions and your tent's and then decide if the canopy will fit or not. Don't think they are made anymore but if you Google you'll probably find images and the dimensions easily.

I have one in black which I used on a Coleman tent; it never really was a good fit to be honest. I certainly don't think it would work with an Icarus 500 however.
