Any advice as to what make heater to use in the awning. Seems to be a lot of choice. I quite like the sound of a quest halogen one. Anyone got one or can recommend. Thanks
Yep halogen are good but really really bright looks like you caught the sun and hung it in the awning. Definitely get a fan heater and if it has a no heat switch can use it to help circulate all that hot air we will hopefully be getting

I have tried the fan heater. Small dimplex, think it was around £30 from Argos. Don't get me wrong it was good and heated up fast but by time the thermostat tripped off and on it seem to spend more time off.
I changed mine for a halogen one. Yes it's bright but it has a constant heat.

Halogen heater will heat you (and the campsite) and a fan heater will heat the awning (and the campsite). Depnds on your choice of which bits to heat up I guess
I find a fleece and a drink of your choice normally works fine and is far more environmentally friendly ;)

Hi there,
Thanks for that info. That is definitely a possibility. My teenagers + friends intend to sleep in the awning so a radiator would be great. No noise and no bright light during the night if it gets a little chilly.
Thank you - carry on camping!
