Lidl have an electric cool bag coming up next week. Thought it sounded ideal for days out - keep it cool in the car and then easy to carry around when out and about. Are they any good or would we be better spending more on a box that can be used on mains as well?

Can't speak for the Lidl box but you can get a transformer that allows you to use a 12v plug indoors.
Coleman adaptor
there are cheaper versions but your would have to make sure the output is high enough

Can I use this on any 12v cooler? That would be great if I can. Thanks for responding.

So long at the cooler doesn't exceed 65 watts (which is quite high, mine uses 35w) and has the car type cigar light plug.

Just resurrecting this thread. I've just been into Lowdhams and seen one there. German make which is good for Picnicking, camping and shopping.
It's not shown on their website, but give them a call.
