Hi All,

Hoping someone might be able to offer us a bit of advice. We have recently bought an Abbey Aventura 330 and are looking to get a porch awning. It says on the specs page that it is 971 cms...but I am confused when searching for an awning what size would fit.

Can anyone offer any advice please?

porch awnings do not need the number size as this (971) sounds like it is your size measurement for a full awning. See where you want it to go, look at porch awnings -- they come in different widths depending on make and style and go from there. It all depends on what room you need, how long it will take to put up and can you carry a 'heavy pole' porch awning or a fibreglass pole.

Porch awnings are measured by the length.

A 260 would be 260cm wide, So usually you need a flat section of roof that length.

971 is the ground to ground measurement going through the awning channel. Porch and lightweight awnings are not measure by that.

Aha, thank you both...I didn't realise the measurements were different

It would just be a wee porch awning we would be looking for as we just want it to hang wet weather gear, store shoes etc.
