Hi all,
Does anybody know if there is an alternative canopy (not Hi-Gear) for the Hi-Gear Rock 4?
I’ve tried "Go Outdoors" store, but they don’t have any and, won’t have new stock until next year.
I understand that the canopy may be available under a different name and if anybody could confirm this it will be much appreciated.

Hi Salfordian,
I was in the same situation with the rock 4 canopy. Emailed Go Outdoors and they said there were none in stock as it has been discontinued.
For us it's a good thing now as we have decided to get a new tent instead. 4 in family (2 adults + 2 small girls) and the rock 4 is far too small for us. We will make do for rest of year while we stock up on better kit and 6-8 beth tent.
I hope you can find one as I follwed one on Ebay recently and it went for £85 - and it had a rip in it!

Thanks for your input.
Go outdoors never actually told me the canopy was discontinued…they only said that they’d sold out?
Anyway, no way am I going to pay £85 notes for the canopy – I’d rather do without.
And…as you said… it looks eBay is going to be my best option, so I’ll have to just bide my time and hope for a bargain.
