Up to now we have slept in the double bed of our motor home with a double quilt but now find it a chore to make up and put away the bed each day. Two single sleeping bags on the bench seats seem to be the answer. Argos are offering a range of bags including some 100cm wide in 250 and 350gsm. Any suggestions what would be the best option?
I've made my own version of a Duvalay but without the memory foam. I sewed a flat sheet to a duvet cover down one side and across the bottom (being careful not to close the buttoned end!). That way I just spread it out and can use whatever tog duvet I need according to the weather.
I wonder why they don't make duvets and sleeping bags in the same rating, either gsm or tog, so we all know where we are?
My parents use single sleeping bags for their caravan. Like you they don't want to make up the bed, and luckily their two berth has got long enough seats so all you have to do is remove the back cushion. The sleeping bags they got are almost like duvets, they are fabric with nice patterns. My sleeping bags for camping are shiny. I assume they got there's from a Caravan accessory shop, I'll ask.
