Not sure vacuuming a SIM is a good idea... but I stand to be corrected.
They are full of foamy bits, that expand with air when you open the valve. The recognised method of rolling them up, and squeezing the air out by hand, would by their very nature, leave those foamy bits with at least a little air still in them. By sucking the life out of them, I guess the SIM will still expand next time you set them up, but my guess is that they'll take a lot longer.
My main concern, although unfounded, and based entirely on inexperience and guesswork, is that doing this on a regular basis may eventually damage the natural structure of the foamy bits, and they'll start to be reluctant to expand!!
Just a thought, so don't be surprised to ultimately learn that I'm 100% wrong!
