I camp with EHU and up until now i've always taken my big an bulk huskey fridge. Its really not designed for camping but it does do the job very well and its 48 Liters.

I'm considering buying an electric cool box as I'm trying to reduce the weight and bulk on my car load (in order to fit more stuff!!). But is it worth it? Are they significantly lighter, and will they work as well?

I read somewhere that they only keep things cool rather than actually reduce the temperature of things - so not good if you bought a beer off the shelves.

I only have about a £50 budget for this, so looking at this 24L Outwell Eco.

Ok, the Icey Trek looks great but out of my price range.

Looking to spend £50 or nothing at all if I stick with my Huskey.

I used to take a tabletop fridge but to save space had been using an aldi electric coolbox which I have to say is really good & I think from reading another thread on here the ones in store at the moment look even better. They are £40 I think.

I will be using my newly won Tropicool now tho :)

I use a Coleman Extreme Coolbox which keeps stuff cold for up to 5 days (if managed correctly).
Although it's only 33L it's still quite big on the outside as the walls are pretty thick

all the gear and no idea
