Hi

I've been researching SIMs today and found these Sportura 7cm ones at Costco

http://www.costco.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/cos_5,cos_5.4,cos_5.4.2/149330

They fit our budget and I have read back through the forum and they have good reviews but I have a couple of questions

Are they still good? They are a good inflated thickness but not too bulky deflated. Most of the posts I found were quite old

Are they cheaper if I join and go to a store - the older posts mentioned a price of £17 4 years ago but that's serious inflation (no pun intended )

Thanks

HI,

Can't comment on the SIMS, but generally I have found most things at Costco to be good quality and they have a no quibble returns policy if there are problems.   You do have to be a member of Costco to even enter the store (they check your ID on entry) though.

Thanks Kitkins but it looks like I can order online without being a member for an extra 5% (£3.74!)

I would pay for membership if I could walk in and get them for £17 though!

My original plan was the sale shop off season but would like comfort sooner if I can :)

We got some SIMS from Costco a few years ago now and they are great.   I find them really comfortable and I'm not easily pleased when it comes to sleeping at ground level! ;)

You can order online without being a member and their delivery is very good.

Thanks Rainbowfairy, they arrived today and they look great. A quick test in the living room was very comfortable - we'll give them a proper test this weekend

For what its worth I haven't seen them in my local store this year. Seems there is more stuff online in camping gear. Those things that appear on both places are definitely cheaper in store to members.
