Hi all

Can anyone recommend a towbar fitter, I'm based down nr Woking in Surrey.
Audi have quoted us £1400!! The car isn't even a year old so they are being precious lol.
It needs to not interfere with the sensors and also need an attachemt for bikes that can be used at the same time as towing a trailer, seen a witter product that does that.

Current quote is £790 which is ok but never heard of the company and would rather have a recommendation

I just had towbar with double electrics fitted to a Focus for £255 in Reading.

Company is All Tow Bars - might be a bit of a trek for you but sounds like you will make a decent saving!

Great service - all done in less than 2hours, price for the job, not by the hour.

Just bought a new Audi too! Towbar being fitted tomorrow in conjunction with Newbury Audi. It's being fitted there.

Will advise the company name when I know tomorrow.

Not sure if they travel to you.

Just a little thing to mention,

a month ago I had a new towbar and electrics fitted by a firm advertising in the yell phone book.

every thing looked A1 and I was well pleased, until i drove 80 miles to collect a small caravan that I had bought, only to be told by the caravan seller that my tow ball was the wrong one fitted.
He explained that if you want to tow with an AL-KO stabilizer fitted you need a towball with a longer kneck.
My predicament was solved by me buying the mans tow ball from him, and so managed to get the caravan home.
