Does anyone know if there is an adapter available to run a Cadac safari chef from campingaz cv cartridges.
My other cooker uses these and was trying to avoid taking two different types of cartridge.
I've tried the Edelrid one but it doesn't fit.

This it what I have done .... I brought a campingaz cv regulator ( very hard to come by and expensive when you come across them)
Then I got some 4.3mm gas pipe (8mm hose was top big for the nozzle on the cv regulator and then just brought a new cadac nozzle so I can use a calor gas bottle and then change it when we go to the beach

Any more questions please ask or if pictures required let me know

Thank you for replying. I saw your picture on an other thread so knew it was possible but couldn't find thread again to ask were you got regulator from. I've got a Cadac en417 regulator to adapt lp safari chef to hp which works well but wanted the option to use cv cartridge as well. I brought this adapter but it won't screw down far enough to work.
I've searched for campingaz cv regulators but can't find one. Any suggestions?

So the adapter you brought fit on to the cv canister? But the cadac en417 regulated won't fit onto the thread of the adapter? I can't remember we're I got it from but I believe Iv got another in the shed what I fount at a carboot it is off a Fargo :

What you can do is find the part number for the regulator (picture above) and get hold of campingaz and buy one from there ( I think there like £30 very expensive that why I brought it at the carboot because they only wanted a few quid for it) that the only way I can see you getting hold of one... Have a look on eBay May be some on there but again there like gold dust and go for stupid money

The part number for the picture about (fargo twin pack ) is 82106 or if you want the same one like in my picture with the cadac the part number is 17371 or 36192

Hope it helps

Thank you I will have a search later using those part numbers. The adapter I got fits the cv canister and will screw into the en417 regulator but it won't screw in far enough for the pin in the regulator to engage the valve in the adapter. Hope that makes sense.
