Is there a UK seller of these? I can see one here: http://www.obelink.nl/kampeerartikelen/koelen/mobicool-c40.html but if you change the language to English it disappears, leading me to believe they won't ship to the UK.
The spec has a EU plug, perhaps that's why it is not listed in the UK/English site.
I would advise trying to buy it via the Dutch site and see if they let you.
I found one on Amazon UK, however, it is over 200 GBP!!!

I have had more of a look around and seen the B40 model many UK businesses sell. It seems identical to the C40, except that it also works on 12V, so would be good for keeping consumables cold on the way to the site from home.
Does anyone have experience of the B40? Would that be OK? Os should I still go for the C40?

Thanks for the link DK, but I am not really any further forward. All of the people posting in the first link seem to think the B40 is a lesser product, when in fact it's the C40, but with an additional 12V cooler built in.
If I were to get one of these, it would have to be the B40 as I need to be able to keep food chilled while in transit in the car using 12V, and then switch to 240V when I arrive on a camp site.

I think that's the conclusion we are coming to as well. Arriving at site mid-afternoon with several hours of set up ahead, means a trip to the supermarket is the last thing we need. If we can take milk, butter, cheese etc. with us from home then we'll be fine for the first night at least.
As long as the compressor is the same (and I've read nothing to indicate otherwise), then we'll spend the extra and get the B40.
Yep, we got the C40 from Obelink back in February 2013 no problem ordering of the Dutch website for delivery to UK which came to a total of £139.
Personally I would not bother with the B40 as on 12v it only works as a cooler.
So save a few quid and get the C40 and if you need to run it on 12v buy a decent inverter, at least that way it will still perform as a proper compressor fridge whilst on 12v.
We have been been down in Frejus this last ten days or so, with temps getting past +30Deg C most days, and the the C40 has worked perfectly as you would expect.
