I have a 12v/240v coolbox which I wish to plug in at a UK or European campsites. How much can I expect to pay for the lead to do this?

The coolbox has a UK 3 pin plug and 12V cigarette lighter plug.

You need to get an ehu lead, looks like a big extension lead with a blue outdoor plug and trip protected socket (s) Price for a decent one....at least 35 quid and up.

Into the long ehu (electric hook up) lead you can plug all your normal uk 3 pin plugs. Just don't turn them all on at once as you may overload the circuit.

Campsites usually come as 6 amp, 10 amp or 16 amps.

Just checked with Mr Frazzle (I did get it right WAV).

Amps =watts /volts. 230 volts in the UK.

Going to France in a week and a bit and going on ehu for first time.
