if you have a Go Outdoors near you then you could always get one of their bucket toilets...basically a bucket with a loo seat and lid clipped on...lined with a bag and some wood based kitty litter it's proved to be invaluable for nighttimes...we use the empty bucket to transport our gas canister and assorted tent pegs to and from the campsite so as not to waste space in the car...

Or if you don't like the idea of a bucket or bag which you have to dispose of..you could look at a porta potti, several makes are available. Waste tank on bottom and flushing tank on top, both in containers..just fill up top with water and a little flushing liquid and a little blue stuff in bottom tank with a little water to start with.
You push a concertina type flusher, pull a small lever and it all disappears into bottom tank.
When it comes to emptying you just clip off bottom waste tank, go to designated point which nearly all sites have, unscrew cap and empty..easy as that. No risk of spillage but does take up a bit more room than other suggestions but worth it in my opinion.
