Is it possible to run a stove with a Lindal screw-on connector (the type on most backpacking stoves)from a refillable Calor butane cylinder? If so, can anyone point me to where I might get the required male Lindal valve?
Basically, I have a Primus Eta stove that normally runs off disposable canisters and I want to know if it's possible to convert it to use a refillable Calor cylinder.
But, as the review points out, pure propane may be a bit dodgy and it seems to screw on directly to the tank. Maybe it could screw on to a regulator otherwise the pressure could be a bit much.

Hi, I was wondering if you managed to find a solution to your earlier post regarding running a Primus camping stove from a Camping Gaz cylinder?
Search > EPI Gas Container adapter 3440 (in Google images) it may be what you need.
I at looking for a similar solution, running a Primus ETA MF stove with 7/16th Lindal Valve (F) from a Sievert valve which will attach to a Primus 2000 canister (usually used for plumbing) but ideal for my needs as a touring cyclist as it fits nicely, strapped in a water bottle cage on my bike frame and is easily refillable at many stores, plus I find using propane on my stove during these cooler winter months a great advantage over butane.
