Hi, I'm looking to buy an induction hob as I'm sick of lugging around my bulky gas canister.

I'm aware i will need to buy magnetic pans as well. So I don't really want to spend more than £50 on the hob.

Two I have picked our are

One Concept

Or this one which is single, but seems to get decent reviews.

QVC

Thoughts?

First one is not induction.

My mistake, it came up under my google search for induction hobs.

Any other recommendations for under £50?

Yep, we got the Lidl one 4 years back, £25 back then with 10 power levels, works a treat on EHU.

Aldi recently had them, for £30.

My single tefal one was £40 from the tefal outlet shop at peterborough had it about 3 months its really great only brought one saucepan when I tried different ones from the house and caravan ON IT I had enough pans. It cooks very fast do much that I want one for the house. Brfore buying it everyone said you need expensive pans you dont mine are from tesco, lild and dunelms. And you will hever have a saucepan boil over.

I have the QVC one and it is the perfect size for camping - packs easily with my frying pan (also from QVC) so I can have the best fried breakfast when I go camping. I was so impressed with induction cooking that I bought another hob from Maplins (it was half price) and I now use it in place of my gas hob at home. You have complete control over the cooking process - it cooks a mean steak.

The other benefit is the washing up - because you have control things don't burn as easily so clean up of the pans afterwards is usually a lot easier.
