Hi
New to caravanning and sadly werent able to get any signal on our tv (even with a decent sized aerial which the previous owner gave us). Thankfully we went prepared with dvd's!
Can anyone recommend a good booster aerial?
Thanks
Vision plus boosters often come fitted in caravans. We bought one a few years ago for our FC. They do make a difference and you can run them off 12v. Of course that only helps if you have a 12v TV.

Do you need at 12v tv for caravan..
No, it doesn't need to be 12v unless you plan to use the van without EHU.
I'd be suprised if an average aerial didn't work for you, so perhaps some detail on exactly what aerial it is you have inherited. Of course, the aerial could be ok and just have a poor fitted connector or failed cable.
Also (excuse the daft question), but did you remember to retune the TV for the location you were at?
Finally, how did you ascertain the correct direction and orientation for the TV aerial?

Simple answer is, no. You would only need a 12v TV if you were planning on going to a site and not using EHU.

As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
