I'm not sure now what to do. With reference to joining it all together. If your using wooden posts in corners how are you securing this to the base? So your not putting anything on the corners to waterproof your box?

Use coach bolts through the sides   so 2 innthe front 2 innthe side is 4 bolts per post.     Self tapping screws attach the ply to the posts     liberal sealant to all the corners.    And pop a trim on screw on and ensure more sealant

What sort of trim Riddle Box? Some sort of angled stuff made from upvc or similar?

Upvc will be cheaper   and prob last longer

If you placed alu against steel you need to protect the alu from the steel as it causes oxyidiation   sorry been in the mini bar tonight

I got mine, but have been offered the proper sides quite cheap so am going down that route.

where to in the country are you ?

sorry for the late reply just got back from a business trip in Portsmouth 3 weeks of the flat lands all to train someone to take my job at the end of the month.


Managed to get a trailer for £100 its def a maypole and has a 400KG weight limit, Jockey wheel and cover.   No Rust other than the top of the jockey wheel handle.

Almost ready to start my project, and the redundancies is going to give me the time to finish it before Xmas.
