Hi, we have just upgraded from tent to caravan and are confused by the mention of water pumps. We have bought an older caravan and was told it needs a new water pump. It has 2 sinks- bathroom cupboard and kitchen unit. Are we looking at buying one of the ones that are submersed into the water barrel? If this is correct, how do we know which one to buy?(we are on a tight budget) Really appreciate any help and advice. Many thanks.

You need to find what the make of the inlet is, and then you will know what pump you need to fit it.

Thank you! We did try to look but the inlet hasn't got anything on it. We will have to guestemate I suppose and hope there is a knowledgeable assistant when we go shopping.

Take a photo of the inlet with you to your local caravan shop. They will know what it is, there aren't that many options.
