Well, I didn't believe they could possibly be comfortable but after waking up every time I turned over on an air bed I bought a 10cm SIM.
Slept brilliantly for 8 nights. If anyone is like me and doubting them ... Go for it!

Yes agree. After having 2 Coleman Comfort Air beds that we found really comfortable but each only lasted a very short time before they started to go down overnight, we reluctantly bought a Vango 7.5 SIM but are now having great nights sleep. Only downside is that it is still quite bulky when packed away.

I agree they are very bulky, but to sacrifice a bit of space for a decent sleep, I will every time.
I have a skandika 10cm and its awesome expensive but well worth the investment!!

Stick the SIMs on top of a camp bed and you won't even have to crawl on your hands and knees to get into and out of bed.

My girlfriend is recovering from a hernia operation. In our living room she lies on 2 Mondoking SIMs :). One provides enough comfort but in this way it's easier for her to lie down and get up.

Exped Megamat 10 on XL camp bed is so comfy, pricey but worth every penny

You can't beat a comfortable bed when you're camping, whatever your preference is. I love my sim and camp bed - it's just that bit more comfortable than a sim on the floor.

After many years of sleeping on various inflatables bit the bullet and brought the Outwell Posadas double bed and the Outwell deep sleep 7.5 sim this year. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Both my wife and I said after our FIRST night on this set up "Why didnt we do this sooner ? "
And as we are both rapidly approaching our 60th birthdays (but consider ourselves reasonably fit) found it so much easier getting out of bed ! Go for it regardless. of age
