i doubt i could ever go back to just fryed food in the tent.
We have full cooked dinners/ pizza / chips ( with the air fryer) / steak / chops
a 1000w oven will work on a 6amp ehu and it was bought as a try it to see and we ended up using it at home as well. The gas oven hasn't been used in the last 2 years.
There is nothing in the world like having rude people next to you on site and the smell of roast chicken wafts over and they have been on beans for a week.

If they have been on beans for a week I would be more worried about the smell wafting over from them than tripping the electric
lol
I very much doubt anyone here would do such a thing (our halogen is transported with only kitchen items inside):
"On investigation, it transpired that when the family packed the car with camping equipment that morning, an aerosol deodorant can was put inside a halogen camping oven.
"When the family arrived and started cooking their dinner, the oven was switched on, which heated the aerosol until it exploded, igniting the tent and causing burns to two casualties.
"Camping and enjoying the sunshine can be great fun but we would advise people keep fire safety at the forefront of their minds this summer. Keep aerosols well away from gas and always check inside any kind of oven - both out camping and at home - before turning it on. It is also prudent to remember to never cook inside a tent; they are extremely flammable so always set up a cooking area well away from your tent."
Also from the picture it looks like it was a mini oven not a halogen oven that we are discussing here:
We use a halogen oven both at home and in the caravan. We have a small (11 litre I believe) in the van and it works great and has never tripped the electrics. The only down side we have have found is the size but most of the ready cook joints of gammon and chicken and cheese wraps from supermarkets (Aldi) come in an oven ready aluminium tray that will fit if you squash it up a bit. The nice thing is you don't have to preheat them unlike the main oven and that to me is wasted gas.
We used a halogen oven in the tent with great success it now lives in the caravan, love it.
