Have never had a problem with mine so obviously something is wrong!
I assume that the liquid is collecting underneath the cassette tank.
Having ascertained that the cassette is not leaking the liquid can only be coming either from the seal between the cassette and the toilet bowl or, as you say, from the locker door.
You can test the seal by replacing the cassette and partially filling the toilet with water containing a small amout of food colouring. Allow to stand for a few minutes and then drain the bowl, remove the cassette and see if any coloured water has seeped through.
The seal is easy to replace following instructions on the packet.
Otherwise I suggest you replace the door seal.
You do not need to open the flap first although I gather that some people do. Personally I don't because you get the blue chemical smell coming up.
