Bought a new tent and found it had leak problems after first use.Unfortunately the supplier has gone into administration so trying to sort out through credit card company.They have asked that I get the tent tested and a report written.Anyone have any ideas where I can get this done- I live near Cardiff. Thanks.

Are you sure it wasn't condensation? ie not a leak but just your condensed breath dripping off inside of tent. Is there a visible leak, where is it coming from?

Its an air tent and we ended up with very wet patch on carpet in front of bedrooms area.Water coming from bottom of air pillar area.Did wonder about condensation at time but had to put towel down to soak up water.

Think you might find another thread on this site regarding some of the Outwell airtents having problems with water getting in the tubes worth looking for as there may be a solution

Hi,

you can use a company called LSR (Lancashire Sports Repairs) They do hydrostatic head testing as well as other tent repairs.

I have used them extensively, they also have a Gore license so that will go some way to telling you the quality of their work.

In this situation and the costs that will be incurred you would be far better to buy a £10 tin of spray on proofer and just give the area a good spray.
