Has anybody used a slow cooker in a caravan?

I wasn't sure how safe or economical it would be but thought it might be a nice way of making a hot meal during the colder months. It's nearly stew season!

Hi we use ours all the time. Once showered, and sorted out in the morning, all the ingrediants are put in the slow cooker and left on all day. Nothing better than coming back to the caravan after a day out and your dinner is waiting for you. We just leave it on low. Perfectly safe!

We too use ours all the time in the winter -

Slow cooker liners are brilliant for saving on the washing up and you can even freeze a pre prepared meal in them and the thaw and cook in the slow cooker while you are off enjoying yourself
