Some of you may already be aware of the Biolite stoves? They generate small amounts of electricity at the same time as you do your cooking.

They have just announced a Kettle* for ordinary stoves

If people are happy paying over £1000 for a sheet of polyester held up by poles they won't bat an eyelid at a £160 kettle

It says 10watts. After checking the voltage its only 5 volts / 2 amps.

That wont fully charge my phone once never mind 1.5 times.

Watched some reviews and seems it only provides 10watts whilst the pan is hot but the water is cold.

So a fairly short time.

I love these types of gadgets but sometimes i do wonder why they didnt just put a little more thought into it.
Have you seen them pour water out of it? It needs a spout of some sort.
