Hi all,
just found out I'm pregnant and we have already got several camping trips booked for this year - none of which I want to cancel ;)
Can anyone recommend any good camp air beds which would be comfortable (ish) for me and my OH. ..

Prefer camp beds as I'm 6' and OH is 6'7" and the frames of camp beds just don't suit us
look forward to hearing (reading) any recommendations

Kirstii

We have always used an intex queen size air bed, it is double height so easy to get in and out of, also has a built in pump.

It is big enough for two people and a dog that thinks it needs to take up as much room as possible! I think they do a king size as well.

Last year we bought a camp bed for my wife for our first short family camping trip. It was quite comfy with a cheap 10cm SIM from Amazon on top. We had to cancel our main holiday so it was not used again. Since then I decided to buy an inner for our bell which meant my wife would probably need a sim due to the sloping sides. As she occasionally has back problems I decided to buy her what is probably the most comfy SIM on the market - Exped Mega Matt 10 LXW. It's mega expensive too. I now use it occassionaly at home if kids wake up at night and once you get the firmness to your liking it is basically as comfy as the bed at home. Extra width helps too. Due to the price I will probably stick to an 'ordinary' 10 cm sim for myself but I don't mind. I never told her the price though... When my wife was pregnant she struggled a bit with finding the right position to sleep - if you have the same problem you might find an Exped Matt a better choice due to their comfort and extra width..

You maybe more comfy in a single bed as the months pass, If that's the case a nice fishing bed maybe be comfortable for you. I prefer sleeping on a single airbed ,or my fishing bed when we're in the tent. Hubby kept wakening me up when going to loo when we slept on a double, and there seems more room for 2 singles. Suits us anyway.
