£132 for the large one and it's only 1.8m x 2.0m, so you'll end up with a warm patch rather than a fully heated floor in a big family tent. Sorry I'm oot.
------------- Dance before the storm and don't look back to where you've been.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, you obviously haven't grasped the gravity of the situation.
What does it do to the grass? That is a very good point. I wouldn`t expect the farmer would be too pleased with his electricity bill either. I have written to Outwell and they tell me that the carpet will only keep my feet warm and may not change the air temp. very much.
I think, if the weather requires it, I will stick to my tiny halogen heater and a hot water bottle under my duck down slippered feet.
If the carpet will only keep your feet warm, why not use decent socks and/or fur lined bootees... I have a pair of bootees especially to keep my feet warm and for warmth and ease of putting on if I have to go to the loo in the night!
Oh, Mucker! Just when you thought you'd thought of everything.............you do make me smile...
