I am considering buying an Avtex TV, model L187DRS, but can not find any reviews. I do not wish to carry a satellite dish, and would prefer, if possible, to use my existing motorhome aerial.
Can anyone advise ?

I must be missing something here, but why buy a TV with embedded satellite receiver if you intend not to use it with a satellite antenna.

Surely you would just buy the Freeview version of the same TV.

Avtex are very good TV's but well over priced, we bought a Cello 16" TV for £85 and it is fine for camping duties and can run of 12v if needed.

We used it for the first time in anger down in Frejus France last July and I was more than pleased with the results, of course we were using the TV with a Freesat+ Box to get UK TV.

Going back to the Avtex, what I do like about them is that some of the models have a Glass Screen, which I think gives a better image to regular small LED TV's which have some kind of soft vinyl screen.

we use a cello in the bedroom and Technika in the lounge. Fine for camping and if little interest to passing thieves

It looks like it would be expensive overkill to buy this TV. I will look at others, such as the Cello. I have a UMC combi TV in my dining room, but thought it a bit heavy and cumbersome for the motorhome.
I notice a lot of very lightweight, and relatively cheap, combi TVs in Tesco. Any recommendations would be welcome.
My point on satellite TV was that I did not want to be bothered erecting, and tuning in, mini Jodrell Bank type affairs outside of the motorhome. If TV reception is poor then that's just hard luck and I revert to the good old radio, or go to the pub.

I think the point is with a television with built in freestat you will still need to have a seperate satallite dish.

Update
I finally bought an Avtex L187DR, having been put off by some of the negative comments on some of the cheaper TVs.
So far I am absolutely delighted. So far arriving on site it soon finds the relevant TV and radio stations, and it performs well with DVD and CD.
I found that in the house its performance was much better than my UMC, and the latter has now gone to scrap. The Avtex now stays in use daily in my dining room, and is put in the motorhome when required.
