they seem very popular with campers. but seems to be a question do you leave them on when out for the day.

I leave mine at home when out at work etc. like so many people.

never used one camping yet. I leave my fridge running all day when out so why no a slow cooker?

We use ours when were away and leave it on to cook all day.

I do exactly the same - lovely to come back after a day out to a delicious, hot meal.

We leave it on but on a timer, just in case we stay out longer than we thought.
