I have one of these and try to run it on the compatible CPX6 Power Pack. i say try because i struggle to get it to work. Seems to work ok on batteries but I much prefer the rechargeable power pack. But can't get it to work. It shows up as fully charged, but no matter how many times I play with the three position On Off switch, i still get no light.
Just me ? or has anyone else had issues with this lamp? Would post pics if it wasn't such a mission to do so.

Lots of issues with those CPX6 power packs - including the one you mention. On our 2nd. May be better getting refund & buying rechargeables & a charger.
Thanks for response. I got a replacement Power pack but the light still doesn't work. The power pack shows a green light as in its fully charged , straight out of the box which doesn't seem right. Time to take it back to the supplier me thinks

I bought two CPX power packs in July 2013 and only used one (the second was back up but never needed) which was charged often and never left to completely die. After 18 months of irregular use it would discharge itself within a week of no use so I got the unused one out and tried charging it to find it never goes green! both will be going back as have a two year warranty and I'll be looking to buy some D cell rechargeable batteries instead.
